Orbisk employees do talk trash a lot. To be more precise, they discuss reducing food waste in the hospitality industry. We are a B-Corp certified pioneer in the sustainability sector, and are on a mission to revolutionize the world by reducing food waste through cutting-edge hardware technologies. Our footprint spans internationally, bringing both exciting opportunities and challenges as we scale. Orbisk isn't just about technology; we are a driver for sustainable change, contributing to a positive transformation around the globe. Our hardware already helped eliminate a whopping 430,000 kg of food waste, and we’re just getting started!

As our People & Culture Lead, you'll be part of the management Team, carrying a wide range of hats, including:

  • Strategic Impact: Embrace a combination of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing an opportunity to shape the HR function in an international, growing organization. From implementing critical HR projects to being a member of the management team, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact by influencing experienced managers based on your previous best practices.

Working as the People and Culture Lead, you'll be part of a dynamic journey, facing and overcoming these challenges associated with global growth!

  • Lead our People-People: Acting as our most senior HR Business Partner, you'll be involved in addressing performance concerns, assisting with strategic personnel planning and actively mentoring two other team members in People Ops and Talent Acquisition. By helping them expand their knowledge, you'll ensure that they're continuously growing and contributing at their best.

Job requirements

Your track record mentions

  • Roughly 5 years of relevant experience preferable within fast-growing environments

  • Bachelor’s degree, even better in HR and you're fluent in English and Dutch

  • You love to set up camp outside of the box: the best ideas require an outside-in perspective

  • Familiarity with Employer of Records and you know a thing or two about international expansion

  • The ability to truly connect to our people, and how to keep their performance up

  • You feel at home in a fluid environment (change is the only constant!)

  • €5.000 - €6.300 per month ex. holiday allowance (depending on knowledge and experience)

  • 32-40 hour work week in a hybrid office setting

  • To take a break to recharge, we encourage you to take 30 days of annual leave per year (based on full time)
