Our people talk trash all day, every day.
That’s why we love them!
Orbisk employees do talk trash a lot. To be more precise, they discuss reducing food waste in the hospitality industry. We are a B-Corp certified pioneer in the sustainability sector, and are on a mission to revolutionize the world by reducing food waste through cutting-edge hardware technologies. Our footprint spans internationally, bringing both exciting opportunities and challenges as we scale. Orbisk isn't just about technology; we are a driver for sustainable change, contributing to a positive transformation around the globe. Our hardware already helped eliminate a whopping 430,000 kg of food waste, and we’re just getting started!
What makes us stand out in the start-up crowd:
Funded with investors, subsidies and already generating revenues that we will use for international growth; ‘Hello, World!_’
Regulations in our favor; companies will be obliged to monitor, collect, sort, re-use, recycle and report on their waste.
We are a waste ánd cost saver. Especially in economic down times, Orbi is on the menu.
As our People & Culture Lead, you'll be part of the management Team, carrying a wide range of hats, including:
Strategic Impact: Embrace a combination of strategic and operational responsibilities, providing an opportunity to shape the HR function in an international, growing organization. From implementing critical HR projects to being a member of the management team, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact by influencing experienced managers based on your previous best practices.
Global Growth: Joining an internationally expanding scaleup, means your expertise will literally shape our future. Our international partnerships bring a variety of interesting challenges as we scale. B-Corp Certification: Working at Orbisk is epic because it's more than just a job – it's aligning with a company committed to ethical and sustainable business practices. Your role contributes to enhancing the positive impact that Orbisk has on both people and our planet.

Why join Orbisk?
For a whole menu of reasons. Some lofty (reducing food waste also reduces our collective CO2 and H2O footprints), others more down-to-earth. After all, joining a scale-up is also just plain fun. And a great conversation starter. Especially if that team is as driven and adventurous as ours. We offer a bunch of other cool stuff too:
€5.000 - €6.300 per month ex. holiday allowance (depending on knowledge and experience)
32-40 hour work week in a hybrid office setting
To take a break to recharge, we encourage you to take 30 days of annual leave per year (based on full time)
To ensure you are taken care of later on, we have a pension contribution of 7%
Everyone has different needs when it comes to benefits. That’s why we offer you a YourCampus flexible spending budget of € 40 per month. This includes access to various health, wellness and lifestyle providers, for example, Classpass, Hellofresh, Swapfiets and more!
On top of this, all employees receive a free Headspace subscription
To support your learning and growth, we offer an annual personal education budget of €500. But we also organize additional team learning activities and if needed provide access to career coaches
An annual home office budget of €250 is offered, so you can create a nice work from home space, as well as a travel allowance for when you work from home
We make sure we regularly organize company activities to connect and have fun with your colleagues
