What's on the menu?
As our new Accounts Payable & General Ledger Accountant, you'll be a key member of our Finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, managing payroll processing, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. You will work closely with finance, HR, and external service providers to maintain compliance and optimize processes.
Job requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and validating invoices, managing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Ensuring accurate posting of journal entries and preparing monthly reconciliations.
Managing and overseeing payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Improving and automating AP, GL, and payroll workflows.
Ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations.
The key ingredients for success:
You have 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, or payroll administration.
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
You possess a strong understanding of Dutch GAAP, VAT, and payroll regulations.
You have experience with Personio (HR & Payroll) and Exact (Accounting/ERP).
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in improving financial processes.
You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

€3000 - €4000 per month ex. holiday allowance (depending on knowledge and experience).
32-40 hour work week in a hybrid office setting, lunch included.
