We are growing and currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales team and help expand our presence in Germany!

What exactly are you going to do?
As Orbisk is growing quickly and building a name outside of the Netherlands, you will be a key part of this expansion! You will be a part of the Sales team EU, currently consisting of a Head of Sales EU, and seven Business Development Managers. As our new BDM, you will be spending most of your time focusing on increasing our number of sold Orbi monitors, and ensuring a good transfer to our Account Management and Customer Success department. Your main priority will be kick-starting our commercial activities in Germany & bringing in our first customers on board.
Your activities will be:
Creating the sales strategy and preparing our official market entry for Germany
Implementing the sales plan for your market and defining quarterly action plans.
Proactively approaching prospects via LinkedIn, telephone, email, events or via your network for making appointments.
Meeting prospects online and sometimes meeting them physically across Germany.
Concluding multi-year deals for our installations with which we structurally help customers prevent food waste.
Job requirements
The key ingredients for success:
4-5 years of experience in new business sales - acquisition is your expertise.
Experience in selling SaaS solutions is a must.
Fluent in German, with professional-level proficiency in English.
Motivation to work with a product that really makes an impact on the world.
You are a self-starter and used to working independently.
Relevant experience within the hospitality or food services industry is a preference!
